"Inspired by the wizard’s chess game in harry potter, we decided to build our our mini version of it.
This bot uses magnets under the chess pieces to move them with the help of another magnet attached to servo which is mounted on a flat X,Y moving assembly. The bot gets current position of the board ,relays it to the python programme running chess engine and selects the best move and plays it on board."

"This bot can balance itself on a flat ground using PID control theory. To keep the robot balanced, the motors must counteract the falling robot. This action requires feedback and correcting elements. The feedback element is the MPU6050 gyroscope + accelerometer, which gives both acceleration and rotation in all three axes. The Arduino uses this to know the current orientation of the robot. "
